Since the very start of Advance, we have tried to be ultra intentional with everything we do. We strongly believe that if our vision to see thousands of lives altered by Jesus and mobilized for His glory is going to happen, then we must stay focused on the things that are most important. This is why you will see and hear these three words a lot at Advance. They describe the heart and soul of who we are and what we do.

CONNECT
We want everyone who comes to Advance to, first, connect to Jesus. Jesus is the source of all of life and is the only place we can find forgiveness and freedom. Because of this, when a person decides to connect to and follow Jesus, their life is completely changed…for the better. In addition, we want everybody at Advance to connect to others. We were never intended to do life on our own, but together. We emphasize the importance of being in regular company with other Christians.

DEVELOP
We believe every person has incredible potential when they place their faith in Jesus. Therefore, we want to help people develop into their full potential in Christ. We want them to live their lives purposefully, intentionally, and with the greatest impact. We encourage everyone to begin using their time and talents inside the church and outside the church as soon as possible. Additionally, we want every person to better understand who God is and what God is doing.

MOBILIZE
We want everyone who comes to Advance to be mobilized into their world. It is our hope that every person at Advance would put into practice what they are learning about following Jesus in their everyday lives. The vast majority of us will spend 14-16 hours a day in places like work, home, school, neighborhood, stores, etc. We want everybody to see these places and opportunities as “Their World” and begin to live as Jesus lived in them.
