Happy Wednesday everyone. I invite you to spend 15-20 minutes praying today at 12:34pm for these four prayer items:
- Trademarks #6. This weekend we will be talking about the spiritual “trademark” of worship. Pray that that we would leave with a better understanding of what worship is and how to live a life that honors God. Not just on Sunday, but every day. This will be my first time giving a message, so pray that God would speak through me and calm any nerves that might be present.
- Pastor Ryan. Pastor Ryan is taking a much needed vacation with his family over the next few weeks. Pray that it will be a time for him to unplug and rest. Pray that he will come back rejuvenated and refreshed. Pray that he would be able to truly disconnect and spend quality time with his wife and kids. Also pray for safety as they travel.
- Hygiene Drive. We are participating in a hygiene drive for the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Pray that we collect more items than we could hope for. Pray for those that struggle with homelessness, specifically youth. Pray that they might find stable homes and shelters. Pray that we as a church can continue to provide for those in need.
- Growth. Since we began a little over a year ago, we have seen God grow our church from 5 to 70. We are continuing to see new faces almost every week. Pray that new people would continue to come to Advance. Pray for your friends, neighbors, and coworkers; that God would give you opportunities to invite them.
